Tens of thousands of Farmers and their supporters have turned up to protest against the impending laws that will limit nitrogen use in the Dutch nation.
A Citizen Lead Movement
Citizen’s, climate activists, and Farmers have been standing together for weeks, stating that changes need not come at the expense of a legacy of farming that goes back for centuries and achieves bounties not seen elsewhere on earth. The group have real concerns that the limits will not achieve the desired outcome of a reduction on emissions and will instead cause social unrest that will create far more emissions overall. The Farmers rationalize with politicians stating they would not use more nitrogen than is needed as that would achieve a negative outcome on both their crops and their pocket books.
Governments have responded by calling in the military.
Although the groups appear largely peaceful.
