  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (120g) finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Additional granulated sugar for coating (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour, chopped pecans, and salt to the mixture, stirring until a crumbly dough forms. Use your hands to bring the dough together if needed.
